About Midlands Technical College

For nearly four decades, Midlands Technical College (MTC) has been serving its community by providing a pathway to success for its students. MTC is committed to maximizing students’ potential and providing skilled employees to the region’s businesses and industries.

• The college has more than 90 diverse programs of study in career and college transfer education.

• Midlands Technical College enrolls approximately 10,000 credit students each fall.

• About one in three college-bound high school seniors in the service area enrolls at MTC.

• Each year, Midlands Technical College provides professional and occupational training and development to approximately 30,000 individuals from area businesses, industries, and governmental and health agencies through continuing education.

• Ninety-nine percent of MTC graduates are employed or continuing their education within six months of graduation.

• Midlands Technical College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award associate degrees, diplomas and certificates.
